"My daughter asked me for a cup of tea one day. Usually she just liked to pretend she was sipping the stuff with her dolls in the garden, but I thought - maybe this is the natural progression? See if she likes it...." After awhile I noticed she came back inside empty-handed, so I asked her what she had done with it.
'I gave it to the sad man, mummy, on the street outside'
It was a sweet gesture, but also a little concerning. 'But honey, you know you shouldn't talk to strangers.'
My daughter merely tilted her head at me and stared up with those large, kind eyes. 'He wasn't a stranger, mummy, he knew your name.'
(This is probably the only work I've felt is worthy of a print, so if you buy it I will be ecstatic!
A long time working on this. The bench was referenced from a bench I found in google, but the rest is from my own extensive referencing, especially on cloak. Also, huge prints available soon!)
